About ACSA
Founded in 1967, the Armenian Churches Sports Association (ACSA) has been a cornerstone in uniting Armenian youth through sports. Our mission is to promote camaraderie, teamwork, and physical fitness within the Armenian community. Over the decades, our league has grown to include numerous churches from the New York City area and beyond, creating a vibrant and inclusive environment for young athletes.
The organizing member churches in the New York City and tristate surrounding area included Saint Vartanantz, Holy Martyrs, Saint Sarkis, Saint Illuminator’s, Saint Thomas, Saint Gregory and Holy Cross. Through the years the league participation grew by the addition of Saint Leon, Armenian Presbyterian Church, Saint Vartan Cathedral, Saint Mary.
